Help topics for the Nôs Beleza app. If your question is not answered here, open a support request inside the app, or email support@thekaymer.com — that reaches the people who build the app.
Nôs Beleza is a marketplace for beauty and personal-care services in Cabo Verde. It connects customers with independent businesses and professionals. Kaymer LLC builds and runs the app; it does not provide the beauty services themselves.
1. Creating an Account and Signing In
You can create an account with an email address and password, with Sign in with Apple, or with Google Sign-In.
Forgotten password. Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. A reset link is sent to your email address. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive.
You signed up with Apple or Google and there is no password. That is expected. Sign in with the same button you used to create the account. There is no password to reset.
Changing your email or password. Both are in your account settings. You will be asked to confirm your current password first.
2. Customer or Professional: Which Account Do I Need?
There are two kinds of account, and the difference matters.
- A customer account is for booking appointments. You can search for businesses, save favourites, request and manage bookings, and leave a review after an appointment.
- A professional account is for running a business. You manage your business profile, your services and prices, your schedule, your appointments, and your portfolio, and you can submit your business for verification.
A professional account cannot make customer bookings. This is deliberate, not a bug. If you run a business and also want to book an appointment for yourself somewhere, create a separate customer account with a different email address and use that one to book.
3. Finding Businesses and Professionals
You can browse by category, browse by island, or search.
Search starts across every island and matches what you type against business names, categories, cities, islands, and service names. You can narrow it to one island with the island filter.
Your saved island is set in Settings or Personal Information, and it is what the app uses to decide what to show you first. Browsing or filtering by a different island while you look around does not change your saved island — only you do, in settings.
Nôs Beleza does not use your device's location. It does not ask for location permission and does not track where you are. If you want results for a different place, choose the island.
A business you expected to find is missing. Only published, active businesses appear. A business still setting itself up, or one that has unpublished its listing, will not show.
4. Booking an Appointment
Open the business, choose a service, pick from the times offered, and send the request.
A request is not a confirmed appointment. The business confirms it, declines it, or proposes a different time. You will be notified when they respond.
Why are there no times available? The times you see come from the business's own schedule — its working hours, its closures, how far ahead it takes bookings, the gap it keeps between appointments, and its daily limit. If nothing is offered, the business has no availability for that service in that window. Try another date.
You cannot book from a professional account. See topic 2.
You cannot book your own business. That is blocked by design.
5. Viewing and Managing Your Bookings
Your bookings are in the Appointments area of the app. Each one shows the business, the service, the date and time, and the current status — requested, confirmed, declined, cancelled, awaiting a reschedule, or completed.
Cancelling. You can cancel a booking from the booking itself. Please cancel as early as you can; a professional who is holding time for you cannot fill it once you are late to say.
Rescheduling. A business can propose a new time. You will be notified, and you can accept or decline the proposal.
Something went wrong with an appointment. Speak to the business first — they are the ones who can fix it. If the issue is about conduct, safety, or a listing that is not honest, report it in the app or open a support request.
6. For Professionals: Your Appointments
Incoming requests appear in your business dashboard and agenda. You can confirm a request, decline it, or propose a different time, and you can mark an appointment as completed.
What you see about a customer. You see the customer's name on every booking. You see their email address only while there is still an appointment to deliver — while it is requested, confirmed, or awaiting a reschedule. Once a booking is completed, declined, or cancelled, the name stays for your records and the contact address is no longer shown. This is intentional: you get what you need to run the appointment, and no more.
An older booking shows "Customer" with no name. Bookings made before the app started storing that snapshot have no name attached. Nothing is wrong with the booking.
7. For Professionals: Services and Schedule
Services. Add each service with its name, description, duration, and price. You set your own prices; Kaymer LLC does not set or approve them. You can make a service inactive to stop it being booked without deleting it.
Schedule. Set your working hours for each day of the week, plus how far ahead you accept bookings, the buffer between appointments, whether same-day booking is allowed, and a daily limit. Times run on a 15-minute grid and schedules use Cabo Verde time.
Closing a specific day. Add it as a full-day closure, with an optional reason. A closed date offers no times at all, whatever your weekly hours say.
Your day shows one block of hours but you work split shifts. The schedule editor works with one continuous window per day. If an older schedule held several windows, the app shows the outer span and warns you before saving that the day will be flattened.
Customers cannot book you. Check all three: your business is published and active, you have at least one active service, and your schedule is saved with hours on the days you want.
8. Professional Verification
To submit for verification, your business draft needs at least one active service and a saved schedule. You then confirm your storefront details and upload a supporting file — an image or a PDF.
It must be a file. A typed description is not accepted. Choose an image or a PDF.
Who sees it. Only Kaymer LLC administrators and the professional account that uploaded it. Customers cannot see it, and other businesses cannot see it.
What verification means. We may review information or documents you submit to help verify your business or profile information. It is not a licensing check, a certification, an insurance check, or a government approval, and the badge does not tell customers that any of those exist. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
Changes requested, or rejected. You can submit again from the verification screen. A request that has been left unanswered for a long time may lapse; you can start a new submission if that happens.
How long does review take? Reviews are done by people, so there is no fixed turnaround. If your submission has been sitting for a long time, open a support request.
9. Reviews
You can leave one review per booking, after the appointment. A review is a star rating and, optionally, written text.
Reviews are public, and the name shown is your first name (or an anonymous label if your account has no usable name). Your account identifier and the booking it came from are not published.
You cannot edit or delete a published review. Write it as you mean it. If a review breaches our rules, report it and an administrator will look.
Deleting your account does not remove your reviews. They stay published, unlinked from your account. The first name shown on them stays too. This is explained in the Privacy Policy.
For professionals: a review you think is unfair. You cannot hide or remove a review of your business, and neither can the customer. You can publish a reply, which is attributed to the business rather than to whoever typed it. If a review breaks the rules — abuse, false claims, a review from someone who never visited — report it and an administrator will review it.
10. Photos and Portfolio
A business can publish portfolio photos, and can keep photos hidden from customers.
Public and hidden. Visible portfolio photos are publicly readable as part of your listing. Hidden photos are restricted to active members of your business, and the app never creates a shareable link for them.
Deleting a photo. You can delete your own portfolio photos permanently, as well as hide them.
An upload failed. Check your connection and the file. Images must be under 10 MB; verification files must be an image or a PDF under 15 MB.
Before you publish a photo of a client, get their permission. It is their likeness, and that is your responsibility, not the app's.
11. Notifications
Nôs Beleza sends notifications about your bookings — requested, confirmed, declined, cancelled, rescheduled — and a reminder before an appointment.
Not receiving them. Check your notification preferences in the app, then check that notifications are allowed for Nôs Beleza in your device settings. Signing in on a new device registers it for notifications automatically.
Turning them off. Use your notification preferences in the app, or your device settings.
Notifications are a convenience, not a guarantee. Delivery depends on your device and network, so check your appointments in the app for the real state of a booking.
12. Support Requests in the App
The app has a support centre. Open a request, choose a category, give it a subject, and describe what happened. You can see your tickets and the replies to them in the app.
Include the business name, the service, and the date and time of the appointment if your question is about a booking. It gets you a useful answer much faster.
Never send passwords or payment card numbers in a support message. We will never ask you for your password.
13. Reporting Something
You can report a business, a review, or other content from within the app. Reports go to Kaymer LLC administrators.
We may not be able to tell you what action was taken on a specific report. If you are in danger or a crime has been committed, contact the local authorities — Nôs Beleza is not an emergency service.
14. Deleting Your Account
Account deletion is in your account settings, inside the app. You will be asked to confirm the account is yours, with your password or by signing in again with Apple or Google.
If you run a business, the storefront is closed first so it stops taking new bookings. If there are still upcoming or unresolved appointments, deletion will not complete yet: the app tells you so, new bookings are turned off, and you finish the deletion once those appointments are resolved. Customers who booked with you should not lose their appointments without warning.
What is removed: your profile, your customer profile, your saved favourites, the notification tokens for every device you signed in on, and your sign-in identity. If your closure leaves a business with nobody running it, its stored media goes too.
What is kept: bookings (they are shared records with the other party), published reviews (unlinked from you, but still public, still showing the first name they were published under), and moderation records. The full explanation is in the Privacy Policy. Please read it before you delete an account.
15. Privacy and Terms
The two published documents for Nôs Beleza:
- Nôs Beleza Privacy Policy — what the app collects, who can see it, and how deletion and retention work.
- Nôs Beleza Terms of Service — accounts, bookings, verification, reviews, and the marketplace relationship.
16. Contact Support
Open a support request in the app, or email support@thekaymer.com.
Tell us which account you are using — customer or professional — and what happened. We typically reply within one business day.
